You may have heard about the government initiative ‘Eat out to help out’. The good news is that Gusto is in and The One Bull, The Cadogan, The Crown and The Fox are all taking part.
The headline is that you get 50% off your food and non-alcoholic drinks when you dine with us Monday – Wednesday throughout August and we claim your discount back from the government. The maximum discount per person is £10 and you don’t need to download a voucher or do anything complicated, we’ll automatically take the discount off your bill. If you want to read the small print, you can read this below.
If you’d like to know more about how we’re keeping our team and our customers safe before you book, please check out our covid secure page for the pub that you are planning to visit. You can book a table online or give us a call.
vat
You’re probably aware that the government have reduced the VAT rate from 20% to 5% on food and non-alcoholic drinks for hospitality businesses from 15th July 2020 to 12th January 2021. The choice as to whether to pass the VAT cut on to customers has been left with individual businesses.
None of our pubs were able to do what they do normally for 15 weeks. We remain hugely grateful to your support of Vino Gusto and our brewery pop-up throughout this time. It’s great to have all of the pubs open again but we are still heavily restricted on customer numbers and the entire hospitality industry is in a precarious position. We are 100% focused on re-building the business but our finances have been hit hard. For this reason, we have concluded that we simply can’t pass the cut on. We hope you understand and we thank you, as always, for your support.
